it is composed of two parallel grooves and two crossed grooves in every circle of the winch drum.
When the wire rope need to wind many layers, the lebus groove can fix the crossover point of the upper rope and the lower rope through crossed groove, which could control the crossover point and make it finished in the crossed groove. In the parallel groove,the upper wire rope can falls into the groove formed by two lower rope. It can form a stable structure between the upper wire rope and the lower wire rope. When the wire rope return to another sides,Both ends’ bead flange can guide wire rope to climb smoothly and return. This structure make our lebus groove realize multi-layer winding and avoid teh messy rope. However, the ordinary spiral groove only make the first layer smoothly winding, but it can not guide the second layer convolve smoothly back, which is especially easy to cause messy rope problems.
According to your condition, since there is not pressure rope device, your movement is rely on the friction force between drum and wire rope. In order to prevent the wire rope from slipping, it is necessary to increase friction between the drum and wire rope. Compared to the spiral groove, the lebus groove have two parallel-line segment and two crossed -line segment, so the lebus have a larger friction, which could prevent wire rope from slipping.
1. The flanges of drum shall be perpendicular to drum wall at any conditions,even under the load.
2. The rope must be kept under tension in the process of spooling so that the rope will be crushed against groove wall. When spooling can not meet this condition,a press roller shall be used.It is generally recommended that the tension of the rope should be at least 2% breaking tension or 10% working load.
3. The fleet angle range should generally never be more than 1.5 degrees and not less than 0.25 degrees.
4. When the wire rope released from the drum goes around the sheave,the center of sheave should be over the center of drum.
5. The rope must be kept round,not loose,even under the maximum load.
6. The rope must be anti-rotation structure.
